The BIO-monitor In-Transit Temperature Recorder is an inexpensive, highly reliable battery powered single-use time and temperature recorder. It generates a permanent strip-chart record of temperature conditions during storage or transportation of temperature sensitive products. At destination, the receiver simply removes the chart and reviews the temperature history of the shipment.
Each unit has a tamper-evident seal with a bar code and serial number and provides a visible start-up verification.
Storage: The shelf life of each device is one year from date of purchase. Preconditioning and special storage are not required.
Activation: Fill out the informational on front of unit and remove the top (white) copy for your records. Pull the tab to activate the monitor. Place the monitor in the container or on the product.
Interpretation of Results: At destination, the receiver cuts the tamper-evident seal, pushes in on the cover, and lifts up to remove the data chart from the recorder. The chart documents the temperature history of the shipment.
